Very cool little find on Jay street. They have breakfast sandwiches and pastries premade on demand which is awesome for people who don't have time to wait. They also have amazing iced lattes they are well balanced, full of flavor with 4 shots of espresso! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious! There is a whole Pac-man room with a Pacman and Ms PACman video game for their customers. The only thing that was a little strange is the staff were not super friendly. I made a comment about what a neat place it was and the individual working didn't really respond except a really low volume thanks with a grouchy face and no eye contact. The guy behind the counter was not really engaging or friendly either which is one of the things we really enjoy about perusing coffee shops in New England. Maybe the two employees were having a bad day or there was something going on before we arrived we were not aware of who knows. We will def try again the next time we were in Schenectady.

Is this a joke? Before taxes and fees on the delivery app, their French toast costs $18.18. Which is an insane price. I had a coupon so decided to try it based on reviews. I requested the espresso French toast, which is one of two options when you order. There is nowhere to put your choice but in the request text box. So I wrote it there and asked for crispy bacon. What arrived was cold, floppy bacon and plain "French toast." Not only did they ignore the option I chose....they didn't even prepare it properly. It was so cold not only did the butter not melt on the bread, it didn't even SOFTEN in the box with the French toast during the drive to deliver it. Then I pulled it apart and it is literally raw bread inside and raw crust around the edges. It's like they spread some batter on with a knife and then cooked it long enough for the egg to not be raw. The price I paid for raw bread with a light coating of batter is insulting. I feel like I got scammed. I won't be going back.

Not sure what happened to the Jay St location lately. Today was my 3rd time within a week stopping in for a case burrito between 8am and 830am. There is normally plenty of selection of burritos, bagels, and regular breakfast sandwiches ready to grab and go. No employees at the sale counter and the cook looked at me and looked away. I would have ordered if I could have spoken to someone. 3/26/2026 - BACK IN ACTION!! Thank you ladies at Buds On Jay!! I have to say those breakfast burritos are AMAZING! The griddle chef 👩‍🍳 is on point today! Don't miss the chance to stop by for a specialty coffee and a breakfast burrito!!

This is my favorite coffee spot in the area. The drinks are always perfect whether you get them hot or iced and they have a lot of different flavors & combinations compared to some of the other places that might only have 4 or 5 flavors to choose from. Their oatmeal raisen cookie was the best I've had in a long time. We always have a hard time deciding between the breakfast burritos (get the salsa) or the bagels. Their cream cheese varieties are so good and the bagels are warm and toasted but still so soft. Even when it's packed, they are still quick getting drinks out.

My coworkers ordered lunch to celebrate the anniversary of my employment. I ordered The Toby Did it on gluten free bread with chips and a pickle. I did not receive a pickle or onions on my sandwich, they used the smallest ingredients possible for my sandwich, which was dwarfed by the barely toasted bread. The few bites of sandwich that I actually got tasted ok. See photo for more.
